Research Support Working Party
Terms of Reference
- To identify emerging environmental factors affecting the provision of research support services and activities, including government policy, funding models and sources, research publication and data collections, research assessment exercises, and related library, repository and research management technologies
- To provide a forum for the exchange of information and benchmarking on matters relating to the development and provision of research support services and activities. This may include local institutional strategies.
- To cooperatively develop and implement where applicable, programs, models and best practice methodologies relating to the development and provision of research support services.
- To communicate with other QULOC Working Parties on matters of shared interest.
- To advise the University Librarians on research support issues relevant to QULOC
- To promote common interests of QULOC Working Parties to outside forums
