Sandra Jeffries

Sandra Jeffries is Director, Information Services at the University of the Sunshine Coast, responsible for the University Library, Records Management Services, Mail and Print Services, and legislative compliance issues such as right to information and information privacy.

Before taking up her position at USC in 2006, Sandra held management positions at the University of Southern Queensland, Bond University, Brisbane College of Advanced Education, the University of Queensland, and with state and local government. She has worked in information policy and corporate development as well as library areas.

Sandra holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Queensland, and a Graduate Diploma in Library Science and Masters in Information Technology from QUT. She is a member of ALIA and is currently a member of the CAUL Open Scholarship Initiative Working Party.

Sandra's professional interests include organisational and staff development, strategic planning and performance, and the appropriate use of technologies for clients and staff. Personally, she likes cryptic crosswords, good mystery novels, beach walks, champagne and tea.
