Sue Craig
Sue Craig is the Executive Director, Library Services at the University of Southern Queensland; responsible for the executive and strategic management of the three USQ Campus Libraries: Toowoomba, Springfield and Fraser Coast.
Sue has held several senior roles in academic institutions in Australia and the Middle East; including roles outside of libraries: Deputy Director, Division of Academic Information Services, (learning materials development and support); RUBRIC Project Manager (institutional repository development in regional universities in Australia and New Zealand); Manager, Strategic Planning & Development, DAIS.
In academic libraries, Sue has managed a library and learning centre in U.A.E. and held various management roles in NSW and QLD in the area of Information Services – information literacy, loans and reference. She specializes in strategic planning and quality processes; integrated information literacy and curriculum development; process reviews and project management.
Sue is currently on the following committees: CLTAC (CAUL Learning & Teaching Advisory Committee); she is the contractor representative of USQ at CAIRSSAC (CAIRSS Advisory Committee); she is Mentor of the QULOC Research Support Working Party; and on the international Programme Committee for m-libraries 4 conference (2012 in UK).
Sue is a member of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA).
